Don't let the "reining" fool you, as Mary is very talented in training and showing English, hunter, western, halter, and sport horses. Mary understands the Arabian breed and how unique they are to train. She listens to her horses and her clients and strives to help the two work together.

Nationally renowned trainer and judge Duane Esser of Esser Valley Arabians, Cleves, Ohio, hired Mary as his assistant trainer in 2005. Mary and Duane complement one another as they break young horses, training, and showing. Along with her busy schedule with Duane, Mary is also the resident trainer and barn manager at Stowe Arabians. She takes in a limited number of outside horses and students to train.
